Skrímsli
Skrímsli, meaning monster is Old Norse, is a solo show by artist Leah Fadness inspired by Loki and his monstrous children and their relationships with Odin and the other gods who feared them. Fadness uses these characters to explore fear based treatment of queerness and process this repetition of misconceptions. The work is a collaboration between Fadness and dancers Kyrin Grey and Ezra Dickinson, who posed for the series and presented an accompanying dance on select nights during the run of the art show to the music of cellist Lori Goldston.
